I have to say I really like this program even though it is no longer updated. Does miss some features that dbpoweramp and EAC has, but is worth a try. One of my favourite CD ripping apps.

Very simple to use, and produces good quality files. Also supports CDDB, to help with the file naming.

Very terrible? Any reason why?
Personally, I like it. Moderate number of options, easy to use, good extraction results, supports CDDB. Not as good as EAC, but definitely far from terrible.
