ImgBurn carries on from where
DVD Decrypter left off! (Well, for the burning part anyway!)
ImgBurn is a lightweight CD / DVD / HD DVD / Blu-ray burning application that everyone should have in their toolkit!
ImgBurn supports a wide range of image file formats - including BIN, CUE, DI, DVD, GI, IMG, ISO, MDS, NRG and PDI.
It supports Unicode folder/file names, so you shouldn't run in to any problems if you're using an international character set.
ImgBurn works in several Modes, each one for performing a different task:
•
Read: Read a disc to an image file.
•
Build: Create an image file from files on your computer or network - or you can write the files directly to a disc.
•
Write: Write an image file to a disc.
•
Verify: Check a disc is 100% readable. Optionally, you can also have ImgBurn compare it against a given image file to ensure the actual data is correct.
•
Discovery: Put your drive / media to the test! Used in combination with DVDInfoPro, you can check the quality of the burns your drive is producing.
ImgBurn is a very flexible application with several advanced features that are often lacking in other tools, especially when it comes to burning DVD Video discs. It supports all the latest drives without the need for updates (including booktype / bitsetting / advanced settings on many of the major ones - i.e. BenQ, LiteOn, LG, NEC, Plextor, Samsung, Sony).
Changes in ImgBurn 2.5.6.0 :
- Added: Option to truncate image (not physically!) when burning to a smaller disc rather than always attempting to overburn.
- Added: New 'Create BDMV Folders' option to the Blu-ray Video options in Build mode. This ensures the BDMV folder contains all the basic folders required for successful playback in PowerDVD.
- Added: New 'Clear Bin Status' button to the Auto Loader Control window. This only applies to Generic auto loaders and tells them to revert to using the first lot of input/output bins.
- Added: Workaround for autoloaders that don't report an error when the input bin is empty and cause the program to keep loading and unloading non-existent media as part of a batch mode read/queued write operation.
- Added: Option to log skipped 'non archive' files/folders in Build mode - files without their 'archive' attribute set (this is nothing to do with zip, rar files etc. !).

Important Note :
-
ImgBurn installer is bundled with "Ask Toolbar". However, you may continue the installation process without installing it.
