fre:ac (formely BonkEnc) is an encoder for various audio formats. It can read MP3, MP4/M4A, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, Bonk, FLAC, WAV, AIF, AU and VOC files and produce MP3, MP4/M4A, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, Bonk, FLAC, VQF and WAV files.
fre:ac makes it easy to convert your audio CDs to MP3 or Ogg Vorbis files which you can use in your hardware player or with your favorite audio software. The program supports the CDDB/freedb online CD database and CDText and automatically writes song information to ID3V2 or Vorbis comment tags.
fre:ac is currently available in seventeen languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Spanish (Latin American), Italian, Russian, Hungarian, Serbian, Finnish, Dutch, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Japanese, Greek, Polish and Ukrainian). It can be translated to other languages easily using the 'smooth Translator' utility that is included in the distribution.

From the other modern-ui programs this toke 5min to understand but from that point I was very impressed both with the speed and quality.
I have yet to do a large batch but it seems quite stable. That fact that the ui is so "old-school" suggest the time was spend on making it work right.

Best free audio ripper and converter I've come across. It's fast and the quality of the files is excellent.

good ! a interagted product .
It can't add plug-in ,It can't use nero-aac to convert .
After I finished converting , time say "13566"
