ALShow is a free, codec built-in, DVD and movie player, which enables users to watch all kinds of media formats without downloading codecs.

Features of ALShow 2.1:

• Built-in Codecs & Online Codec Center:
- ALPlayer includes the basic codecs to play most of the movies. For those rare kinds of codecs that are not popularly used, ALPlayer will download the codec from ALPlayer Codec Center then install it for you. With ALPlayer, you do not have to wander around the internet to find the proper codec for your video. ALPlayer will do everything for you.
• Hide & Mute with ESC key:
- When you are secretly watching a new blockbuster movie in your office, and when your boss is approaching you, what will you do? Usually you will try to click the small ‘X’ button or press ALT + F4 with an awkward finger position. Your boss is smart enough to notice what your action means. With ALPlayer, just press the ESC key. Pressing ESC will pause and mute the movie, and will disappear from your taskbar. Now, here is a tip. Open up a document you are working on, place ALPlayer on top of it, play the movie, place your left hand’s ring finger on the ESC key and right hand on your mouse. When your boss comes near you, quietly press the ESC key and wheel down the mouse wheel pretending you were reviewing the document :).
• Video/Audio/Screen Capturing:
- More than just a movie player, ALPlayer has the function to capture audio, video or screen shots to your hard drive.
• Bookmark Your Movie:
- ALPlayer provides a Bookmark function that let you play from your preferred part of the movie. If you see an awesome scene in the movie and want to show your friends later, bookmark it. You can start the movie from the part you have bookmarked by few clicks instead of skimming the entire movie.
• Loop to Repeat Video Segments:
- Tired of rewinding? Loop it! ALPlayer lets you quickly and easily loop video segments with a start marker and an end marker so that you can view part of a scene again and again as much as you like.
