The webpage only indicates that GSpot is applicable for up OS up to Windows Vista 32-bit.
Can it be used on Windows 7 64-bit system?

This program is the best. I've been using it for a few years now. It's been great with helping me identify codecs that play on my kids handheld players. Combine "gspot" with converters like "freemake" and i'm unstoppable.

Perfect to say the least...
It saves time, money, HD space, computer processing, system ram and A LOT more... all of that free of charge and in a practical 402kb package.
Forget about that time where you actually had to install 100mb codec packs just to find out half of them where either unnecessary or are conflicting between each other... brilliant.

It's a really useful program, unfortunately it's really old too and hasn't been updated for over a year now :/
so it wont work on some files types for example .mkv (Matroska Video)
